Last summer we had the opportunity to update and revise a chapter of the Minnesota Estate Planning for Non-Traditional Families Deskbook. The chapter is called “Planning for Incapacity – Financial Issues” and mostly centers around Powers of Attorney, which is an important document that everyone should have as part of their estate plan. Last month, the deskbook was published and made available through Minnesota Continuing Legal Education. The audience for this deskbook is attorneys who want to learn more about this area of law. It was a great experience to contribute!
