Jen Completes Year as Chair of Probate, Trusts & Estates Section of the MSBA

Jen is wrapping up a year as head of the Probate, Trusts and Estates Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. Achievements of the Section over the 2022 – 2023 term over which Jen presided included hosting 7 CLEs, establishing an annual writing competition for law students, and launching a pro bono Probate Clinic through the Minnesota State Law Library which has so far assisted 35 individuals. Additionally, the Section published four newsletters, helped pass the Uniform Electronic Wills Act, and submitted an amicus brief In re the Trust of Eva Marie Hanson Living Trust- which the Court of Appeals published an opinion in favor of the Appellants’ and the Section’s position.
