Jayne Presents at the 2022 Elder Law Institute

On October 7th, Jayne had the opportunity to present at the 2022 Elder Law Institute with Steve Messick, Sarah Sicheneder, and James McNary. The panel’s topic was “How to Handle Delicate Issues in Asset Distribution.”

The panel discussed sensitive issues that can come up when distributing certain assets, such as firearms, drugs, digital assets, and personal diaries. Ultimately, they concluded that it is essential for any practitioner in this area to have strategies and techniques for navigating fiduciaries through the grief and heightened emotions that typically surround these delicate issues.
